Eddie Varela

Eddie Varela's work experience begins in 2004 with an internship at T-Mobile. Eddie then worked as a Sales Associate at Sports Authority before moving on to roles as a Computer Network Specialist at Integrated Technology Solutions and a Helpdesk Technician at The Kemtah Group, Inc. Eddie also served as a Service Technician at Pinnacle Security and a Lead Technician (Manager) at Protection 1 Security Solutions.

In 2010, Eddie started working at Dell EMC where they held various positions including Tech Support Engineer, Manager 1, and Business Operations Project Manager. In these roles, they performed software upgrades, provided technical support, and was responsible for training new engineers.

Eddie then worked as a Help Desk Technician II at MarketStar before joining Nexus IT Consultants as a Project Team Manager in 2023.

Eddie Varela attended The University of New Mexico from 2006 to 2012, where they focused on Information Systems Management but did not obtain a degree. Eddie has also obtained several certifications, including ITIL Service Transition (ITIL-ST) and ITIL Foundation from APMG International in July 2016 and April 2016 respectively. Additionally, they earned the Platform Engineer, VNX Specialist Version 8.0 (EMCPE) certification from EMC in July 2015, and the Information Storage Associate Version 2 (EMCISA) certification from EMC in January 2015. Eddie Varela also obtained the NTS Certified Alarm Technician Level I certification from the Electronic Security Association in April 2011.
