Khalil El Mahrsi

Khalil El Mahrsi, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Khalil is currently the Head of Data Science & Analytics at Intermarché since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Data Science at the same company from January 2022 to August 2022. Before joining Intermarché, Khalil worked as a Tech. Lead Data Science at Intermarché from January 2020 to December 2021.

In addition to their industry experience, Khalil has also worked as a Lecturer at Université Paris Dauphine- PSL since September 2020. Khalil also held various roles at Keyrus, including Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Tech. Lead from January 2018 to January 2020, and Senior Consulting Data Scientist from July 2017 to December 2017.

Khalil's earlier work includes collaborations with organizations such as Safety Line and Ifsttar, where they served as a Data Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher, respectively. Khalil also collaborated with Karos - Covoiturage domicile travail as a Data Scientist for a short duration. Khalil started their career as a Chercheur postdoctoral at Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech) and as a Teaching Assistant at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Khalil began their research journey as a Doctorant contractuel at Télécom ParisTech.

Khalil El Mahrsi, Ph.D. obtained their Doctorate in Informatique et réseaux from Télécom Paris between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Master de recherche in Génie logiciel et aide à la décision from ENSI - Ecole Nationale des Sciences de l'Informatique from 2007 to 2009. Khalil also holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Informatique from the same institution, which they achieved between 2005 and 2008.

Khalil has also obtained several certifications, including an EF SET English Certificate with a score of 82/100 (C2 Proficient) from EF Standard English Test in 2021. In 2020, they received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. Additionally, they have certifications from Dataiku, including Dataiku DSS Certified User - L2 in 2019 and Dataiku DSS Certified User - L1 in the same year.
