Caitlin Connors, MS, CPC, CPB

Caitlin Connors has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Caitlin began their career in 2007 as a Patient Accounts Representative at InterMed, P.A., where they worked until 2012. During this time, they gained experience in managing patient accounts and resolving related issues.

In 2012, Caitlin joined Riverside Pediatrics, LLC as a Billing and Referral Coordinator. In this role, they were responsible for managing the full revenue cycle for a busy pediatric practice. Caitlin implemented new policies and procedures that led to increased patient collections and successfully managed the practice's transition to a Medicaid ACO program.

In 2013, Caitlin worked as a Human Resources Generalist at OTTO Portland, where they gained experience in HR functions and practices.

Caitlin started their own medical billing business, Caitlin Connors Medical Billing, in 2017. As the owner, they provided comprehensive medical billing services to their clients.

Since 2018, Caitlin has been working at InterMed, P.A. in various roles. Caitlin started as a Patient Service Representative, where they provided customer service and support. Later, they took on the role of Accounts Receivable Specialist, focusing on resolving payer issues and identifying opportunities for increased revenue. Currently, they hold the position of Finance Project Specialist, utilizing their financial expertise to manage projects effectively.

Caitlin Connors, MS, CPC, CPB has an extensive education history. Caitlin pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the Maine College of Art & Design from 2000 to 2005. Following that, they obtained a Professional Development Certificate in Human Resource Management from the University of Southern Maine in 2011-2012. In 2017-2019, Caitlin completed their Master of Science degree in Healthcare Management and Informatics at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
