Rui Oliveira

Rui Oliveira is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and program management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development at Intermedia Cloud Communications since July 2025, Rui previously held the role of Director of the Service Management Office at Talkdesk, where efforts focused on enhancing R&D processes and system reliability. Notable achievements at Talkdesk include overseeing a critical reliability program and driving improvements in system observability. With a background at WIT spanning over 16 years, Rui managed significant initiatives such as the rollout of the RCS MaaP Platform in a major market and led upgrades for three major Japanese carriers without service interruptions. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Technology Commercialization from The University of Texas at Austin and a BSc in Computer Science from Universidade de Coimbra.
