Elsa Palanza

Elsa Palanza currently serves as Global Head of Sustainability & ESG at Intermediate Capital Group since September 2022. Prior to this role, Elsa held the position of Managing Director and Global Head of Sustainability & ESG at Barclays from October 2018 to August 2022. Additionally, Elsa worked as a Strategic Advisor for clients including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Clinton Foundation from January 2017 to September 2018. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Commitments and Associate Director of Program at the Clinton Global Initiative from February 2011 to December 2016, and Director of Development & Operations for The Manjushri Project from 2007 to 2008. Elsa also worked as the Director of the Turkey Office for Bahçeşehir Uğur Education from 2005 to 2006 and as a Consultant at Washington Policy & Analysis, Inc. from 2002 to 2005, providing advice on US foreign policy and energy matters. Elsa holds degrees from Middlebury College and The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
