Intermission Film
Roy Smith has a diverse work experience in the film industry. Roy started their career as an intern at ContentFilm in 2009. Roy then worked at Ealing Metro International Limited as a Sales Executive and later as the Director of International Sales. In these roles, they were responsible for sales, licensing, and research for feature films and documentaries. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Creative Producer and Account Manager at Zealot UK, managing client accounts and producing AV advertising for major film and TV studios. Smith then joined Umedia as a Sales Agent, handling sales, licensing, and distribution for various territories. Roy worked at Zealot UK again from 2014 to 2016 as a Senior Creative Producer. In 2016, they worked as a Freelance Consultant Creative Producer and Account Manager. From 2017 to 2019, they worked at Chinagraph London as a Creative Producer and Account Manager. In 2019, they joined GrandSon Creative as a Producer. Most recently, they held the position of VP and Senior Producer at Silk Factory and Intermission Film in 2023.
Roy Smith attended the University of Exeter from 2006 to 2009 and obtained a BA Hons degree in Economics & Finance.
