Dominick Vanthienen

Dominick Vanthienen's work experience includes a role as Chief Technology Officer at Intermodalics starting in October 2019, a role as VP Technology Innovation at Intermodalics from June 2017 to October 2019, and a role as Senior Roboticist at Intermodalics from January 2016 to June 2017. Dominick Vanthienen's education history begins with their secondary education at Groenendaalcollege from 1997 to 2003, where they focused on Mathematics and Science. Dominick went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical-Electrotechnical Engineering at KU Leuven from 2003 to 2006. Following this, Dominick continued their studies at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dominick then returned to KU Leuven and completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from 2007 to 2008. Dominick furthered their education at KU Leuven and earned a Doctor in Engineering Science degree with a specialization in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from 2009 to 2014. Recently, in 2020, Dominick attended the Vlerick Business School for the Scale-up Masterclass, focusing on International Business.
