Dave Alderman

Dave Alderman is the current President of Friends of the Salt Lake City Cemetery, overseeing the largest operating municipal cemetery in the United States. In addition, Alderman serves as a Board Member for the Salt Lake Valley Hospitals Outreach Committee under Intermountain Health, providing insights on community health needs. Alderman has also held leadership roles as a Past Chair and ongoing Board Member of the Greater Avenues Community Council, contributing to community enhancement initiatives. As a member of the Transportation Advisory Board appointed by the Salt Lake City Mayor, Alderman influences transportation policies affecting the city. Alderman previously chaired the Avenues Street Fair, a significant community event, and enjoyed a lengthy career in the energy sector with BP and Amoco, culminating in various managerial roles. Alderman holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
