Michael Scheuller

Board Vice Chair at Intermountain Healthcare

Dr. Scheuller is a board‐certified otolaryngologist/head and neck surgeon who has practiced at McKay‐Dee Hospital with the Intermountain Medical Group since 2005. He takes care of patients with head and neck cancers, thyroid cancers, and salivary gland tumors. Given his background of working at Phoenix Children’s Hospital prior to coming to Intermountain, he also has a robust pediatric otolaryngology practice. Dr. Scheuller was elected to the Intermountain Medical Group Board in 2010 and has served continuously during that time. At McKay‐Dee Hospital, Dr. Scheuller has also served on the McKay‐Dee Surgery Center Board, which is a joint venture partnership between Intermountain Healthcare and a coalition of surgeons in the Weber and Davis County region. He enjoys teaching residents and has been appointed a faculty member of both the McKay‐Dee Family Medicine Residency as well as a clinical professor at the University of Utah Department of Surgery. He has also served as the representative for otolaryngology on the McKay‐Dee Surgical Council since its inception. Dr. Scheuller is an innovator and helped develop a hemostatic, dissolvable nasal sinus dressing that has become one of the most popular dressings used in sinus surgery today in this country.
