Ryan Vermilio

Ryan Vermilio has extensive work experience in the field of analytics and decision support. Ryan is currently working as a Lead Analytics Architect at Intermountain Healthcare since 2022. Prior to this, they held the same role at SCL Health from 2021 to 2022.

Before that, Ryan worked as a Senior Decision Support Analyst at University of Colorado Medicine in 2018. In this role, they utilized revenue cycle data and statistical methods to provide insights into performance and suggested methods for improving operations.

From 2017 to 2018, Ryan served as a Senior Application Analyst - Data Analytics at SCL Health, where they were responsible for the analysis of mission-critical applications and preparing ongoing and ad hoc reporting for internal clients.

Before their roles in analytics, Ryan worked at Sling TV as a Senior Operations Analyst from 2016 to 2017.

Ryan's early career involved various roles at Bank of America, including Business Solutions Consultant, Change Consultant, Senior Business Systems Analyst, and Personal Loan Consultant. Ryan worked at Bank of America from 2004 to 2015.

Ryan Vermilio has a strong educational background in various fields. Ryan obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Analytics with a Big Data Specialization from the University of Colorado Denver, attending from 2015 to 2017. Prior to this, they also pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Texas, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Furthermore, Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Dallas, which they earned between 1994 and 2003.

Apart from their formal education, Ryan Vermilio has also obtained several certifications. Ryan is a Tableau Server Certified Associate, having acquired this certification from Tableau in October 2021. In June 2017, they achieved the qualification of Tableau Desktop 10 Qualified Associate from Tableau Software. Furthermore, they hold certifications as a Certified Community Manager, Certified Data Steward, and Certified Platform Administrator from Collibra, all of which they earned in May 2017.
