Madeline Bossi

Madeline Bossi is a skilled UX Researcher and Linguist with extensive experience in user experience research and linguistics. Currently, Madeline works at the Internal Revenue Service, focusing on enhancing the taxpayer experience through data-driven UX research. Concurrently, at the Center for Equity, Gender, and Leadership, Madeline assesses generative AI models to promote equitable access for diverse English speakers. Past roles include mentoring students at the University of California, Berkeley, where Madeline contributed to linguistics education and research, including analyzing language structures and cognitive processes. Madeline's educational background features a PhD and MA in Linguistics from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a BA in Linguistics and Cognitive Science from Pomona College.
