Michael Young

Michael Young serves as the National Director of Unified Communications in User & Network Services at the Internal Revenue Service, overseeing a team of over 250 staff and managing a budget of $50 million. Young is the founder of Rooted Synergy Gallery, promoting community engagement through art, and also founded Technology Consulting Solutions, focusing on Managed Services for small to medium-sized businesses. Experience includes leadership roles such as President of the Board of Directors for Code Black Tech and Carole’s House of Hope, and Cyber Security Architect III at CATCH Intelligence. Young has further contributed to the educational sector as an instructor for CompTIA certification courses and held significant governance positions, including Vice-Chair at Metropolitan Community College and Chairman of the Board at the Transit Authority of Omaha. Young holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bellevue University.
