Nonye Onyewuenyi

Nonye Onyewuenyi, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Project Management at IAVI, focusing on advancing vaccines and therapeutics from concept to clinical development. Previously, Nonye held the position of Associate Director at Sandoz, where responsibilities included operational management and project planning. Academic experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Nonye has been involved with the Nigerian Association of Pharmacists & Pharmaceutical Scientists in America as Secretary and Executive Board Member, and has extensive experience in project management and regulatory strategy development at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. Nonye also contributed to diversity initiatives as Chair of the Women in Science in Mallinckrodt and has held roles in various professional organizations, including the American Chemical Society. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D., MSc, and BSc in Chemistry from UNSW.
