Amy Christopher Barnes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of FX & International Settlement at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Madrid since October 2004. In this role, Amy leads a team responsible for processing the global collection of ticket and cargo sales proceeds totaling up to USD 39 billion and managing currency exchanges worth USD 15 billion annually across 73 currencies. Previous positions at IATA include Regional Relationship Manager for Banking ASPAC in Singapore and Manager of Currency Coordination in Geneva, where significant banking relationships and lobbying efforts were developed. Amy began her career as a stockbroker in Chicago and gained foundational experience through internships in currency trading and trade analysis. Amy holds an MBA in International Marketing and Finance from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Illinois Wesleyan University.
