Elias Teshome Hailemariam

Elias Teshome Hailemariam is an experienced professional in the aviation industry, currently serving as an Advisory member for the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Ground Operations Group since June 2023. With a career spanning from September 2000 to the present at Ethiopian Airlines, Elias has held roles including Director of Ground Services for below wing operations and Manager of Group QMS, SMS, Compliance, and ACE across commercial divisions, ground services, and airports. Elias possesses a Master’s degree in Marketing Management from St. Mary's University, a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Addis Ababa University, and holds a Diploma of Education in Safety Management Systems for Airlines from IATA Training.
