Ilaria di Summa

Ilaria Di Summa has extensive experience in risk management, particularly in the aviation sector, currently serving as Assistant Manager Settlement Risk at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since April 2016. In this role, Ilaria assesses risk levels for travel agencies in Europe and Africa, manages financial securities, and liaises with banks for compliance. Prior to IATA, Ilaria worked at IBM for nearly nine years in various capacities, including Europe Shipped Not Installed Coordinator and High Value Fulfillment Advocate Centre Focal Point for France. Earlier positions include a service desk role at Serco for the European Space Agency and an internship at the Italian Institute of Foreign Trade (ICE). Ilaria holds a Master’s degree in Translation from Sapienza Università di Roma and a Master’s degree in International Business from Alma Mater Studiorum, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Translation.
