Luis Ramos Alves has extensive experience in aviation quality and compliance monitoring, with roles ranging from Safety and Compliance Monitoring Manager to Quality Auditor. Luis has worked for various companies such as International Air Transport Association (IATA), Morten Beyer & Agnew, Aviaqual, Wake QA, and more. Luis has also served as an IOSA Lead Auditor, Instructor, and Evaluator, conducting audits for airlines worldwide. Additionally, they have managed the Quality System of certifications and performed audits in various areas of the aviation industry.

Luis Ramos Alves holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico, which they obtained from 1988 to 1993. Luis later pursued further education in Business Administration and completed an MBA at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics from 1997 to 1999. In addition, they have obtained various certifications related to air transport auditing and instruction from institutions like the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
