Martina Bednarikova

Martina Bednarikova is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in policy analysis and economic research, currently serving as the Economist for Policy Analysis at the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since June 2017. In this role, Martina has produced data-driven policy analyses and managed key publications that support IATA's advocacy initiatives within the air transport sector. Previous positions include Economist and Analyst at IATA, where Martina focused on air traffic, competition, and regulatory benchmarking. Other professional experiences comprise roles at CERN, Bloom Consulting, Euro-Atlantic Center, and the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic. Martina holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave and is currently pursuing a Master's in Carbon Management at The University of Edinburgh.
