Serkan Simitcioglu

Serkan Simitcioglu began their career in 2006 with Deutsche Lufthansa, working in Ground Product and Processes. From 2004 to 2010, they served as the Quality Management Representative at Germanwings GmbH. In 2011, they joined IATA, where they held various roles including Manager Quality & Performance Improvement, Manager Audit Standards, and ultimately as the Head of IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) starting in May 2014.

Serkan Simitcioglu completed a Bachelor of Arts in Aviation Management at IU International University of Applied Sciences from 2004 to 2008. Serkan later pursued an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management at McGill University from 2019 to 2021.
