Sonia Ben Hamida

Sonia Ben Hamida, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Special Cargo at the International Air Transport Association (IATA), where responsibilities include leading the development of standards and solutions for the air cargo supply chain, particularly for live animals and temperature-sensitive cargo. Additionally, Sonia is engaged as a Lecturer in Innovation Management at both the Haute École de gestion de Genève (HEG) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), where courses focus on innovation strategies and design methodologies. Previous experience includes roles as Innovation Manager at ArianeGroup, Project Management Officer at Davidson Consulting, and extensive contributions in requirements analysis and system architecture at Airbus Defence and Space. Sonia holds a PhD in Innovation from CentraleSupélec and has a strong educational background in aeronautics and mathematics.
