Alejandra Fernandez-Borunda

Alejandra Fernandez-Borunda is a Research and Health Policy Associate at the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking (IARD) since May 2022, where responsibilities include screening articles and assessing studies related to HIV and alcohol. Previous roles include Research Assistant at IARD, and various Graduate Assistant positions at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, focusing on professional development programs, nutrition projects, and epidemiology courses. Alejandra also has experience at Greensboro Urban Ministry in emergency assistance and with the Student Health Action Coalition, contributing as a clinic advisor, medical interpreter, and receptionist.
