Archit Jain

Archit Jain is a Principal and Partner at Oculus Light Studio since January 2012, leading a team in creating award-winning lighting designs for a diverse range of global projects from the main office in Los Angeles and a satellite studio in Seattle. Jain has served as an Elected Member of the Membership Committee for the International Association of Lighting Designers since January 2022. Previously, Jain was a Principal at Lighting Design Alliance, overseeing studio management and business development from May 1998 to January 2012, and worked as a Lighting Designer at SCES, Inc. from 1997 to 1998, focusing on commercial and restaurant spaces. Jain began the career in architecture at DAAT from 1993 to 1995, specializing in sustainable building design. Academic qualifications include a Master of Building Science in Lighting from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi.
