Adam Ford

Adam Ford has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Adam currently serves as the Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), where they work towards advancing the organization's goals and supporting its members.

Prior to their current role, Adam was the State Manager for New South Wales at the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). Adam has also worked as a Director at BluWave, LP and as the Chief Investment Officer and Founder of Redd Road Capital LLC, where they utilized a macro, top-down approach to investment analysis.

Adam's work experience also includes being the Co-Founder and President of Touchinvest, a platform focused on helping individuals make informed decisions in tangible assets. Adam has held positions at Macquarie Bank, IntercontinentalExchange, Inc., Henderson Global Investors, Citi, and Goldman Sachs JBWere.

Throughout their career, Adam has gained valuable expertise in the areas of privacy, company directorship, investments, and financial services.

Adam Ford completed a Bachelor of Economics (BEc) degree from The Australian National University, specializing in Macro Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, and Politics. Adam attended the university from 1991 to 1994.

In 1996, Adam Ford pursued a Graduate Diploma (Grad Dip) in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA, where they studied from 1996 to 1998.

Adam Ford enrolled in the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2018 to complete the Corporate Governance course, earning a GAICD (Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors) certification. This course was a short-term commitment that lasted for the year.

Currently, Adam Ford is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Adam began the program in 2020 and is expected to complete it in 2023. No specific field of study was provided for the MBA program.
