Christos M. has a diverse work experience in the field of technology risk and cybersecurity. Christos is currently serving as a Partner and Managing Director at Grant Thornton Cyprus, specializing in digital risk and cybersecurity. Christos is also a Co-Founder of Enactia, a company focused on the delivery of digital transformation solutions.

Christos has held various leadership roles at different organizations, including being an IAPP Approved Instructor and the IAPP Cyprus KnowledgeNet Co-Chair at the International Association of Privacy Professionals. Christos has also served as an APMG Accredited ISACA Professional Qualifications Instructor at APMG International.

In addition, Christos has been actively involved in the ISACA Cyprus Chapter, where they have held positions such as President, Vice President, and Immediate Past-President. Christos has also contributed as the Academic Relations Director and Research Director at the chapter.

Prior to their current roles, Christos has worked as the Technology Risk Advisory Leader at BDO Cyprus and the Discovery & Digital Forensics - Cyber Risk & Incident Response Services Leader at Deloitte Cyprus. Christos has also gained experience as a Group IT Auditor at CYPRUS POPULAR BANK PUBLIC CO LTD and as an Information Systems Auditor at PwC Cyprus.

Early in their career, Christos worked as a Project Manager and Systems Analyst at Infocredit Group, where they were responsible for the delivery of an information system and the organization's information systems security.

Christos M. has a diverse education history. In 1996-1999, they obtained a Diploma in the Science Field from Pallouriotissa Lyceum. Later, from 2001 to 2005, they pursued a BSc (Hons) degree in Computing Informatics from the University of Plymouth. In 2005-2006, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and earned an MSc in Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems with a specialization in Information Security.

Moving forward, in 2008-2009, Christos M. obtained a Diploma in Bank Operations from the American Bankers Association (ABA). Christos also has multiple certifications in various fields. This includes ISO 27001 Lead Implementer - Information Security Certification from ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute), UK, obtained in September 2021. Christos acquired the Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) certification from ISACA in June 2020. Additionally, they hold the IAPP - Certified Information Privacy Professional / Europe (CIPP/E) certification, obtained in June 2018 from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
