Dallas Bishoff

Dallas Bishoff has extensive work experience in the field of information security and consultancy. In 2000, they started working as a Senior Instructor and Courseware Developer for (ISC)², where they also mentored other instructors. Dallas also served as an Independent Contractor for BSI in 2014. From 2009 to 2015, Dallas worked as an Independent Security Consultant.

In 2013, Dallas joined HP Enterprise Security Services as a Client Security Officer, overseeing the transportation sector in the Americas region. Dallas served as a security advocate and trusted advisor to senior executives and provided security services for over $1 billion in contracted business. Dallas also served as a Security Assessment Team Lead for a State ObamaCare Health Information Exchange system.

From 2015 to 2017, Dallas was the Managing Partner for Simmons, Hall, Bishoff, Wolfe & Partners, where they provided global information consultancy services. Dallas then joined Stratiform, a PCM Company, as the Director of Security Services. Following this, they acquired MANUS 360 in 2018 and became the Executive Director, driving the business forward and establishing services aligned with market demands. Dallas also served as the Chief Strategy Officer for MANUS 360 from June to December 2018.

Dallas has also been involved with various organizations. Dallas served as a Member of the CIPP/US Exam Development Board for the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) from 2016 to 2019. Dallas was also an IAPP Authorized Instructor for the IAPP from 2020 onwards. Additionally, they served on the Certification Schema Committee for CertNexus in 2016.

Dallas Bishoff began their education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1978 to 1985, where they studied Professional Aeronautics. Dallas then attended Vanderbilt University Law School, where they obtained an Executive Legal Certificate. Dallas also pursued additional certifications, including ISO 13485 Medical Devices - Quality Management Systems from BSI in December 2022, Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in August 2021, and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in May 2021. Dallas obtained the V-Legal Executive Legal Certification from Vanderbilt University Law School in August 2020. Other certifications they have acquired include CDPSE from ISACA in August 2020, HCISPP from (ISC)² in June 2019, and CGEIT from ISACA in January 2017. Additionally, Dallas holds certifications such as CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) - Lead Instructor from (ISC)² in August 2015, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor from BSI in March 2015, CIPP/US from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in July 2014, and ISO 20000 Lead Auditor and Instructor from BSI in July 2014. Dallas also obtained the Healthcare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) - Lead Instructor certification from (ISC)² in April 2014 and the ISO 22301 Lead Auditor and Instructor certification from BSI in May 2013. Finally, Dallas received the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2019.
