Eduardo Sanches

Eduardo Sanches has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Eduardo is currently a member of the Privacy Engineering Section Advisory Board at the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Manager at OneTrust from November 2021. Eduardo also served as a Partner at X Digital starting from February 2019. Eduardo was a board member at Instituto Saúde Educar from January 2018. Before that, they owned oQueijo, a cheese specialist shop in December 2017. Eduardo worked as an Information Security Specialist at Mutant from December 2019 to November 2021. Eduardo was an Information Security Consultant at Mutant from June 2019 to September 2019. Eduardo served as the Director of Cybersecurity & Privacy at PwC Brasil from November 2018 to January 2019. Prior to that, they were a Partner in Information Security and Computer Forensics at Ventiv Consulting from December 2015 to October 2018. Eduardo's earlier experience includes managing director roles in Information Security and Computer Forensics at FTI Consulting from March 2008 to November 2015.

Eduardo Sanches has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Eduardo also holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade Paulista and a technical degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from ETESG Guaracy Silveira.

In addition to their formal education, Eduardo has obtained several certifications. Eduardo is a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) from The International Association of Privacy Professionals, a GitLab Certified Associate from GitLab, and has completed the Learning Python certification from LinkedIn. Eduardo also holds the EXIN Privacy and Data Protection Foundation certification from Exin Holding B.V., the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification, and the Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) certification, both from The International Association of Privacy Professionals. Eduardo has also earned the GRC Professional Certification from GRC Certify.
