Janet Cushing

Janet Cushing has a solid work experience in the software development field. Janet started their career as a Senior Software Developer at Liberty Mutual Insurance in 2004, where they worked until 2007. Janet then joined Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in 2008, taking on roles such as Technical Lead for the Production Support Team and Developer for the ADW Development Team. Janet's responsibilities included complex Informatica ETL development, SQL development, and Java/Web Service changes. Janet also provided mentoring and training to team members, including production support resources, new developers, testers, and project managers. In 2014, they became a Senior Software Developer at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company, where they worked until 2017. Janet then moved on to work as a Software Developer at CyberGrants, LLC in 2018 before joining the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Senior Software Engineer later that year.

Janet Cushing completed a Full Stack Developer Bootcamp at the University of New Hampshire in 2018, specializing in Full Stack Web Development. Prior to that, they attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Services Administration with a minor in Economics. Janet also attended Lynnfield High School in Lynnfield, MA.

In terms of additional certifications, Janet obtained the following through LinkedIn: AWS for Developers: Data-Driven Serverless Applications with Kinesis, AWS for Developers: DynamoDB, Serverless and Microservices for AWS, and DevOps Foundations. Janet also earned the Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in October 2019.
