Sarah Jane Byrne-Bertrand has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and fraud prevention. Sarah Jane started their career as a Junior Fraud Analyst at Desjardins in February 2018 and then progressed to the role of Senior Fraud Analyst in November 2018. Sarah Jane served in this position until July 2019 when they transitioned to the role of Supervisor Fraud Prevention, which they held until October 2020.

In May 2020, Sarah joined PSP Investments as an Information Security Analyst. Sarah Jane contributed their skills and knowledge to the organization until July 2021.

Currently, Sarah is employed as a Cyber Security Analyst at the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals since November 2022.

Throughout their career, Sarah has gained expertise in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, and information security analysis.

Sarah Jane Byrne-Bertrand, CFE holds a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity from Polytechnique Montréal, which they obtained from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Finance, General from Concordia University from 2017 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Sarah has obtained several certifications through Coursera. These certifications include completing the "Capstone: Applying Project Management in the Real World," "Agile Project Management," "Project Execution: Running the Project," "Project Planning: Putting It All Together," "Google IT Support Specialization," "IT Security: Defense against the digital dark arts," "System Administration and IT Infrastructure Services," "The Bits and Bytes of Computer Networking," "Analyze Data to Answer Questions," "Google Data Analytics Capstone: Complete a Case Study," "Google Data Analytics Certificate," "Google Data Analytics Specialization," "Share Data Through the Art of Visualization," "Technical Support Fundamentals," "Process Data from Dirty to Clean," "Ask Questions to Make Data-Driven Decisions," "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere," and "Prepare Data for Exploration." These certifications were obtained between 2021 and 2022.

Furthermore, Sarah has also obtained the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in December 2021.
