Sarah Oakley

Certification Operations Manager at International Association of Privacy Professionals

Sarah Oakley has worked at two different companies in their career. Sarah began their career at Prescott Park Arts Festival in 2017, where they held various roles. As a Front of House Manager, they oversaw all aspects of the front of house operation and managed inventory, pricing, displays, and sales at the on-site merchandise booth. Sarah also assisted in box office operations and served as the primary point of contact for visitors. Sarah then transitioned to the role of Development Associate, where they worked to secure funding for the festival through grants, donors, and sponsorships. Sarah cultivated relationships with sponsors and major individual donors and was responsible for developing and tracking grant proposals and reports. Sarah also had a brief stint as a Development Intern, assisting the Development Director in daily fundraising tasks and maintaining detailed records of philanthropic giving.

In 2019, Sarah joined the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, they provided support to customers and addressed their inquiries and concerns. Sarah later moved up to the position of Certification Coordinator, where they assisted in managing the certification process. Most recently, Sarah has been working as a Certification Operations Manager, overseeing the operations related to certifications at the organization.

Sarah Oakley attended Marshwood High School from 2011 to 2015. Sarah then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Human Development at the University of Maine from 2015 to 2019.
