Faris George Karsheh

Faris George Karsheh is an experienced professional in the field of education management, currently serving as the Head of Global Conferences at the International Baccalaureate since October 2019. In this role, Faris developed a five-year strategic direction for the conferences team and aligned the academic program with the organization's messaging about education. Previously, as the Global Conferences Senior Manager, achievements included optimizing the global conferences budget and launching the first-ever global virtual conference for the IB community, gathering 5,000 educators worldwide. Before joining the International Baccalaureate, Faris was the Head of Projects Management Unit at the Queen Rania Teacher Academy, overseeing a multi-million dollar USAID funded grant and managing a team of 20. Faris also served as Strategic Partnership Manager at the Jordan Education Initiative. Academic qualifications include an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology and a BS in Management Information Systems from Al Jami'at Al-Hashimiyyah.
