Kian Hwee Ong

Kian Hwee Ong has significant experience in finance and leadership roles. Kian Hwee currently serves as the Global Head of Finance Shared Services and Global Controller at International Baccalaureate since April 2017. Prior to this, they held positions at Zimmer Biomet as an Associate Finance Director and Regional FP&A Associate Director. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at TAKEDA PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY LIMITED as the Regional Head of FP&A. Before that, they worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals Asia Pacific as the BD & Supply Chain Finance Controller. Kian Hwee also has experience at Standard Chartered Bank and Cisco Systems. Kian Hwee Ong began their career as a Senior Financial Analyst at Intel.

Kian Hwee Ong holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) degree in Business Administration from National University of Singapore, which they obtained from 1993 to 1996. Kian Hwee also pursued a Master of Science degree in Marketing from the same institution from 2000 to 2001. In addition, they became an affiliate of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) from 2008 to 2013, specializing in Accounting.
