Patricia Marcano

Patricia Marcano currently serves as the KS3 Coordinator and Head of Science at The British School Caracas, while also teaching IB Biology and Science across various educational levels, including KS3, IGCSE, and IBDP, since August 2019. In addition, Patricia has been an assistant examiner for IBO monographs, Biology Paper 3, and Internal Assessment in both English and Spanish with Bachillerato Internacional since May 2014. Prior experience includes a long tenure at Fundación Academia Washington from September 1997 to July 2019, where Patricia taught IB HL and SL Biology and led the Science Department. Patricia holds a Magister Scientiarum in Bioethics from Universidad Central de Venezuela, a teaching qualification from Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
