Donia El-Mazghouny serves as the Managing Partner at Mazghouny & Co since February 2020, recognized by Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, and Who’s Who Legal for expertise in Energy, Projects, and Infrastructure, and a 2021 Client Choice award winner for Energy & Natural Resources in Egypt. El-Mazghouny also holds roles as Secretary-Treasurer and Arab Regional Forum Liaison Officer for the Power Law Committee of the International Bar Association. Previously, El-Mazghouny was a Partner at Shahid Law Firm, leading the Energy and Projects team, and held the position of Legal Counsel at Edison SpA. With extensive experience in energy laws, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and competition law, El-Mazghouny has a strong foundation in advisory roles and legal research. Academic credentials include an LLM in International Financial Law from King's College London and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in law from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and Cairo University, respectively.
