Roberta Downey

Roberta Downey is an experienced legal professional specializing in international construction law. Currently serving as the Partner and Head of International Construction at Vinson & Elkins since October 2021, Roberta has also held leadership roles at the International Bar Association, including Co-Chair of the Innovation Sub-Committee and the Project Establishment Sub-Committee for the International Construction Projects Committee from January 2021 to December 2023. Prior to this, Roberta spent nearly three decades at Hogan Lovells, where the title of Partner was held from September 1992 to September 2021. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts with Honours in Geography from the University of Oxford and a Master of Science in Construction and Arbitration Law from King's College London.
