Lies Versavel

Lies Versavel has extensive experience in the field of midwifery and lactation consulting, having served as Coordinator for Research & Development, Midwife, and Lactation Consultant IBCLC at De Bakermat vzw since August 1993. From 2005, Lies has been an IBCLC lactation consultant, taking on the role of IBLCE coordinator for Belgium since 2008. Additionally, Lies is a board member of the VLAAMSE BEROEPSORGANISATIE VAN VROEDVROUWEN since March 2016, leading the digital healthcare workgroup. Previous roles include Midwife at UZ Leuven and Head Midwife at Clinique Saint-Jean. Lies holds multiple degrees in midwifery and nursing, as well as advanced certifications in lactation and prenatal education, showcasing a strong educational background in maternal and infant health.
