Michael Monahan

Michael Monahan has extensive experience in both public service and the electrical trade. Currently serving as a Boston Redevelopment Authority Board Member and a member of the Boston Zoning Board of Appeals since June 2001, Michael is also an International Vice President and International Representative for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Second District, a position held since September 2014. Michael's career with IBEW Local 103 began in 1986 as an Inside Journeyman Wireman, later advancing to roles such as Business Manager and Business Agent until 2014. Michael completed an apprenticeship in electrical work through Local 103 JATC from 1982 to 1986.
