Katerina Ilieva

Katerina Ilieva is a Tax Associate at IBFD since February 2021, contributing expertise in Mandatory Disclosure Rules (DAC6) and International Taxation, with key responsibilities including the analysis of cross-border arrangements, double tax treaties, and corporate documentation, as well as client communication and training material preparation. Prior experience includes a role as Junior Legal Officer at TMF Group, where similar analytical and client-oriented skills were applied, and internships at the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria and Vendere, showcasing a strong foundation in legal and customer relationship management. Katerina holds a Master’s degree in Tax Law/Tax and Technology from Maastricht University and a Bachelor’s degree in Taxation and Law from Rhine-Waal University, complemented by additional studies in International Business and Management.
