Jim Murphy

Jim Murphy is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Chair of the Board for the Future Energy Skills Programme and a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for Jewish Heritage and Cosgrove Care, Jim Murphy also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at Arden Strategies and is a Member of the Advisory Board for the International Business and Diplomatic Exchange. A distinguished member of Their Majesty’s Privy Council since 2008, Jim Murphy has previously been a Senior Adviser and Executive Director at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, and has held significant political positions, including Leader of the Scottish Labour Party and Member of Parliament for East Renfrewshire. Jim Murphy’s career highlights also include serving as Shadow Secretary of State for the Department for International Development, where strategic international negotiations were a focus.
