Rachael A.O. Antwi, CEnv, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and environmental risk management. Currently serving as the Head of Group Sustainability and Environmental Risk at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated since 2022, Rachael is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Sustainability/ESG strategy across 36 subsidiary companies. Additionally, Rachael contributes as a Non-Executive Board Member at the Centre for Environmental Rights and serves as Deputy Chairwoman for the ICMA West African Regional Committee since May 2023. Previously, Rachael held leadership roles in sustainable finance at Koa Capital and Standard Bank South Africa, and gained significant experience in corporate debt and capital markets at Barclays Investment Bank. Rachael's academic background includes advanced degrees from the University of Oxford in Environmental Change and Management, as well as qualifications in Corporate Law and Economics from the University of Pretoria.
