Amit Sharma

Amit Sharma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in climate tech advisory and consulting, currently serving as the Founder of SPREAD since July 2018. In addition to this role, Amit holds the position of Managing Director at XL Ventures, focusing on investments in climate-tech and sustainability startups. Since March 2024, Amit has been a Program Advisory Panel Member for the International Carbon Registry, contributing to high-integrity carbon credit initiatives. Other significant roles include serving as Board Member and Chair at Capture, Co-Founder of OPNFI, and a Management Board Member at VOLANTE ASIA. Previously, Amit held key positions at Tech Mahindra, including Vice President and Global Head of Business Development (Digital) and Regional Director - Business Development (Asia Pacific), along with positions at Subex, Jamcracker, and Bharti Telesoft. Amit holds a PGDBA in Management from The ICFAI Business School.
