Luca Romito

Luca Romito has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

They began their career as a Java developer and ICT consultant at Glowing Technologies in 2005 and stayed with the company until 2008.

In 2008, they joined TMNS as an EAI Consultant and remained in the role until 2017.

They then worked at KPN as a BW Developer from 2010 to 2011 before moving to UPC Broadband as an Oracle OSB and J2EE developer from 2011 to 2014.

In 2014, they joined Nuon as an Oracle Developer for a brief period of time.

From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Liberty Global, initially as a Functional Designer and later as an Oracle Fusion designer and developer.

In 2018, they transitioned to Devoteam as a Consultant for a few months before joining Ingenico ePayments as an IT Product Owner, a role they held until 2020.

They subsequently worked at Worldline Global as a DevOps Manager from 2020 to 2021, before becoming a Business Engineer until 2022.

Currently, Luca is a Solutions Architect at International Card Services.

Luca Romito attended the Università degli Studi di Palermo from 1997 to 2004, but no specific degree or field of study is provided. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Oracle SOA Suite 11g Certified Implementation Specialist certification from Oracle in March 2013. Luca also achieved the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in December 2014, followed by the Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification in January 2019. In July 2019, they completed the Microservices Foundations certification from LinkedIn and the Learning Java 9 Modularity certification from LinkedIn. Luca's most recent certification is the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, obtained in May 2023.
