Gary Doxey serves as the Associate Director at the International Center for Law and Religion Studies since 2005, contributing to the organization's role as a global leader in comparative and international law related to religion and religious freedom, while fostering partnerships to enhance legal expertise in this field. Prior to this, Doxey held prominent positions in the State of Utah from 1997 to 2005, including Chief of Staff to Governor Olene S. Walker, acting as a chief operating officer and collaborating with various state leaders, and General Counsel to Governor Michael O. Leavitt, providing legal advice and supporting legislative initiatives. Doxey's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Cambridge, a Doctor of Law (JD) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History, both from Brigham Young University.
