Alec Knight is an experienced program writer currently employed by the International Center for Transitional Justice since December 2015, having previously served in various capacities including associate in philanthropy and private sector partnerships. Earlier roles include research consultant at the University of Virginia School of Law, editor for the American Society of International Law, and database administrator at TR2 Inc. Knight has also contributed as a visiting academic and program associate at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies and The Foundation for Law, Justice and Society, respectively. Additional experience includes summer associate positions at Victor M. Glasberg & Associates and the Institute for International Law and Human Rights, as well as volunteer work with Blue Law International, LLP. Knight holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law, a Master’s degree in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Global Affairs from George Mason University.
