Martine Fougeron

Faculty At Icp. Guest Lecturer & Artist In Residence at International Center of Photography

Martine Fougeron is a distinguished fine art photographer, visual artist, and cinematographer with over two decades of experience running Martine Fougeron Studio since 2002. Fougeron's notable solo exhibitions include presentations at the Gallery at Hermès and the Bronx Museum of the Arts, with work housed in prestigious collections like the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Significant long-term projects include intimate portraits of her two sons in 'Nicolas & Adrien' and documentation of trades in the South Bronx amid gentrification in 'The South Bronx Trades.' In addition to artistic endeavors, Fougeron serves as an educator, founding The Photography Master Retreat and mentoring students at the International Center of Photography. As a contributing photographer, Fougeron has collaborated with leading publications such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. Educational background includes degrees from Wellesley College and Sciences Po.
