Deborah Rothman has over three decades of experience as a mediator, arbitrator, and arbitration consultant, with expertise in domestic and international disputes across various fields, including business, employment, commercial, probate, family, entertainment, and intellectual property. Since July 1991, Rothman has operated a private practice, additionally offering arbitration consulting services. Active in several prominent organizations, Rothman serves as an international arbitrator and mediator for the International Centre for Dispute Resolution and the American Arbitration Association. With a distinguished fellowship at the International Academy of Mediators, Rothman advocates for high standards in mediation. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree from Yale University, a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University, and a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, among other educational experiences. Rothman also participates in professional associations such as the American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
