Martje Verhoeven-de Vries Lentsch is a partner at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek since November 2008, specializing in international arbitration and litigation, particularly in energy and post M&A disputes. Martje also provides advice on contract interpretation and corporate law. In addition, Martje serves as a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris since July 2021, contributing to the judicial oversight of arbitration proceedings. Martje has been an executive board member of the Dutch Arbitration Association since July 2020 and has experience as a visiting foreign lawyer at Haynes and Boone, LLP, as well as in-house counsel for Global Litigation at Shell Oil Company. Martje holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Laws in Dutch Private Law from Utrecht University and has furthered education at institutions such as the Amsterdam School of Finance, University of Nottingham, and Macquarie University.
