Simon Holmes is an experienced legal and competition expert currently serving as a Member of the Competition Appeals Tribunal since March 2017. Holmes holds multiple roles, including Co-Chair of the Sustainability and Competition Taskforce at the International Chamber of Commerce and a member of the ICC's Commission on Competition. Additionally, Holmes contributes as a Strategic Adviser for #SustainablePublicAffairs and serves on the Consultative Council of the Instituto de Derecho de la Competencia. Academic involvement includes the position of Visiting Professor at the University of Oxford. Previous experience includes work as a Legal Advisor for ClientEarth and a Non-Governmental Advisor for DG Comp at the European Commission. Simon Holmes obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law and Economics from St John's College, Cambridge, and has studied at the Institut d’Études Européennes at Université de Bruxelles.
