Yuan CHAI is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international trade and legal affairs. Currently serving as the Lead and ATA Carnet Manager at the International Chamber of Commerce since November 2016, Yuan has developed expertise in ATA Carnet operations. Prior to this role, Yuan worked at the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CPPIT) from September 2004 to August 2016, holding positions including Deputy Director of the ATA Division, where responsibilities encompassed government relations, personnel management, and international coordination, as well as serving as Legal Counsel, focusing on contract review and risk analysis. Yuan's career began as a Desk Officer in the ATA Division, handling ATA Carnet issuance. Yuan holds a Master of Commercial Law from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Science and Technology Beijing.
