Ángel Luis Arias Serrano

Ángel Luis Arias Serrano currently serves as the Permanent Representative of Spain at the International Civil Aviation Organization in Montreal, Canada, since June 2023. Prior experience includes notable roles such as General Director at ENAIRE from May 2015 to June 2023 and General Director of Civil Aviation at the Ministry of Development between January 2012 and June 2015, where Ángel Luis also presided over the Board of the Spanish Aviation Safety Agency. Ángel Luis held the position of Vice President at EUROCONTROL from December 2013 to May 2015, alongside various directorial roles at Aena from 1992 to 2012. An academic background includes teaching Aeronautical Management at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and contributions to the European Commission as Vice President of the Expert Group on Future Transport System.
