Eng. Alex Wanda (MUIPE, R.Eng) is a highly experienced professional in the fields of geoscience, remote sensing, and satellite navigation. Currently serving as a member of the IEEE SA Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Disaster Management Study Group, and as a project team member in the ICAO APIRG Sub-Group, Alex has also contributed as an expert on the ITU Roster since November 2019. Notable roles include membership in the SBAS IWG and GNSS SARPs Working Group, focusing on satellite navigation within African initiatives. Alex's academic background includes a Master’s degree from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s degree from Makerere University, complemented by a postgraduate diploma in project management from the Uganda Management Institute.
